Okay, I know this isn't Shino. I'm sorry for lying once more. He is coming up though, I promise. I just couldn't resist drawing this. Its an extra late, finalized V-day kazzam. Basically, I happend on a screeshot that I referenced to make this. It just seemed so perfect for a NaruHina moment. I added the water and background, and chaged some other various parts from the reference and I think I'm pleased with this so far. Hinata looks a bit not Hinata-ish, but oh well. Naruto too, but I can overlook that.

I hope you all like this one. I love this couple so much. :D

For those of you who need a context of some sort, here's something short I made up for a scenario:

(Naruto and Hinata are on a mission together in Snow Country as Jounin, both at the age of 17/18. They get cornered by enemies and are forced into this situation where they must hide in the water.)

Naruto: "Hina-chan, you okay? Come closer to me. Let me warm you up..."

Hinata: "Naruto-kun..."

Naruto: "No need to be shy, we could die of frost, come on..."

Hinata: "H-hai!"

Hinata swam a bit closer to Naruto, but in embarrasment, was unable to look Naruto in the eyes and looked down at the fridged water instead. Noticing this, Naruto smiled at her shy mannerism. 'When she blushes, she looks absolutely adorable...' thought Naruto. Slowly, he brought his hand up out of the water to place it gently on her face. Startled, Hinata looked up, but then quickly averted her eyes to stare at his nose because she wouldn't dare try and stare his at beautiful blue eyes for much longer than a split second. She just might faint.

Naruto smiled even wider, and despite the predicament they were in, he couldn't think of a more perfect place to be... next to her side. Slowly, he leaned in and gave her a sweet and reassuring kiss on her lips.

"I'm going to protect you, Hina-chan." Said Naruto.

Blushing madly, Hinata managed to stutter out, "I w-will p-protect you too, Naruto-k-kun!"

~I'm crazy (this is the first time I have ever written anything related to fanfiction and the like, kyaa. I need sleep)~ <3 <3 <3

All done with the lovable yet painstakingly slow mouse (all from scratch btw) and the great Photoshop 7.0. Cheers~

EDIT: All right, a lot of people are asking this, so I thought I'd address it here. No, I did not reference FFX while drawing this, I was not even thinking about it, but after the first person mentioned this, I realized the amazing resemblance to it. hehe. But yeah, that was not the reference or done on purpose. It's pretty cool though how it does resemble it. I love FF. :D And thank you all for all the love on this drawing, it really has spurred me to do more artwork. :glomp:

aww!

You stole my heart with this pic! How adorable!! How cute!! It almost looks real! Like a photo- shoot! And the story you added was so nice.<3 Gorgeous!

A question: Are you writing actively in a RPG forum? Because you should!(a Naruto one of course!) You are talented in many different branches.

I really cannot believe how over-rated you are in DevArt. It's not fair...>< You are one of the best artists on DA in my opinion.

Fantastic! I love your realistic style. :nod: I really like Naruto's hair and the water in this pic. But, no offense, Hinata looks more like Neji to me. ^^;
